Service in Action

The Service in Action Club was initiated in September 2016 to provide our elementary students with the opportunity to serve the community around them in a variety of ways. The club runs once a month and is under the supervision of the elementary teachers and a few parent volunteers. The entire elementary body is divided into teams of 11 or 12 students and each team is tasked with a different type of service. Currently, the five areas of service include baking for the poor and needy, making cards for sick and afflicted ones, cleaning up garbage on local trails, playing games with seniors, and singing at United Mennonite Home in Vineland.
