P.T.A.

Jordan Christian School’s Parent-Teacher Association is the parent-run organization that provides support to the educational and extra-curricular programs of JCS and increases communication within the school community. Their duties include purchasing supplies, decorating, and providing food & drink service for the various PTA events, supporting non-uniform days for the elementary students, organizing PTA fundraisers throughout the school year, and maintaining communication between administration, teachers, parents, and students.

Events:

  • Hot Lunches (once a month)
  • Sloppy Joe Lunch
  • Christmas Program
  • Grandparents Day
  • Activity Day
  • Grade 12 Graduation
  • Apple Pie sales (ongoing)

The PTA also organizes four extra ‘fun days’ for the elementary students, each around a specific theme. Students get to dress up (they are non-uniform days) according to the theme and the PTA typically brings in treats.
