As our vision is to educate students for Christian service, intentionally providing service-learning opportunities is an important focus here at JCS. Students in grades 1-8 participate in Service in Action events on a regular basis, focused on serving the needs of others while serving alongside one another. Our secondary students are expected to not only fulfill the OSSD community hours requirement of 40 hours, but to also complete an additional 40 hours of service within our school community in order to achieve their JCSSD. We are committed to training our children to become compassionate servants, whose desire it is to serve the Lord and our neighbour.
